As a business and landowner in the beautiful Bay Of Islands it is our practice to provide a sustainable business and create as little impact on the environment as possible. We have in place waste management, energy efficient lighting, power monitoring and use where possible recycled products and biodegradable cleaners. The gardens are low maintenance and require little watering. We have also set aside (on another property) 3 hectares of native forest and planted another 1000 native trees.
We are proud to have been given an enviro bronze accreditation through qualmark and will continue to strive on improving our operating procedures to keep the”NZ Green” image alive and reduce our carbon footprint. |
